Textured Newborn Hat Crochet Pattern
Lots of people try to find newborn hats for boys but it always seems to be so hard. Let me make it easier for you. This Textured Newborn Hat is perfect for a new baby boy (or girl), and only took me about an hour to make! It is easy to make add-ons – for example, an animal to attach. It is perfect for an added item to a baby shower gift basket, or to bring a little something to meet your new grand baby in the hospital. I highly suggest using Mary Maxim, Twinkle yarn as it’s very soft for a little ones head.
I know a lot of you try to make this hat with worsted weight yarn, then don’t seem to like the end result. Because of all the adjustments needed – it looks very different going up so many yarn weights. I’m not sure if most people are just picking up yarn closest to them, or if super fine weight yarn feels like it would drag on and on to make.
