Use pattern as gauge swatch – bottom circle should measure approximately 3” in diameter.

Note: Join rounds where indicated with a sl st in the first st of the rnd. Do not turn at the end of each round.

Row 1: 12 dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped chs count as additional dc) join. (13 sts)
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc throughout), fpdc around first st, [2 dc in next st, fpdc around same st] 11 times, 2 dc in last st, join. (37 sts)
Row 3: Ch 3, [fpdc around next fpdc, dc in next st, 2 dc in next st] 12 times around, join, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends (49 sts)
Row 2: Fpdc around first dc.

Row 2: 2 dc in next st.

Row 3: Fpdc around first fpdc.

Row 3: Dc in next st.

I am a bit confused. I thought you are done with the scrubbie after the 3row when you weave in the ends.When you keep going is that the handle of the scrubbie? Thanks I hope I am making myself clear about the question.
