We had the pleasure of trying Red Heart Scrubby Yarn, and love it! A couple years ago I was wondering if someone would come up with a yarn that would do a better scrubbing job then traditional yarn. I've been waiting to try it ever since it came out although didn't get the chance until now. As soon as it came in the mail I got excited! I could finally try it out, and it does not fail to please.

The Scrubby Yarn is perfect for the more simple projects. It is typically best with a hook size I-9 (5.50 mm) +, although I prefer using J-10 (6.00 mm) hook. It is 100% polyester, worsted weight yarn, machine wash and dry. It's great for washcloths, but also for dish scrubbies, and bath products! I would highly recommend Red Heart Scrubby Yarn that has 92 yards of yarn!
The Scrubby Sparkle Yarn is great for spicing it up a bit. When I think sparkle, I think those round sparkles with the hold in the middle that can be attached to all kinds of things, although that it's this type of sparkle. This type of sparkle can't fall off! It is simply made of a shiny material that light reflects off of. This yarn is also 100% polyester, worsted weight yarn, machine wash and dry. It also is best used with I-9 (5.50 mm) +, and yes, I prefer using J-10 (6.00 mm) hook. The uses are the same as the Scrubby Yarn as well. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of sparkle in general anymore, but if you are, it is similar to the Scrubby yarn and would work the same!

Love both the Scrubby and Scrubby Sparkle. I have been making dishcloths and scratchers. I wish there was a true green in a Christmas color, though. I finally was able to order the “Jolly” in Scrubby and received it.
