Preemie Newborn Traditional Hat Crochet Pattern

I was watching a bunch of old Christmas movies one day and kept seeing these traditional winter hats. Of course I had to make one myself!
My favorite part of this hat is probably the red peaking out of the white. I'm not sure what it is about it, but I love it!
This Preemie/Newborn Christmas Pom Pom Hat is made with worsted weight yarn, G-6 (4.00 mm) crochet hook, and a small pom pom maker.
