Preemie Newborn Gabrielle Hat Crochet Pattern
This was the first crochet hat I ever designed! I remember sitting on the couch making each of the sizes very carefully. After that, I added a crochet flower to bring a little something special to the hat.

The Preemie/Newborn Flower Hat Pattern is made using worsted weight yarn and a G-6 (4.00 mm) crochet hook. Oops! Don't forget the 1″ button for the added cuteness in the middle of the flower. If you don't want to use worsted weight yarn, then you can also customize it with these other patterns I made for this purpose. This specific hat also has post-ribbing to add texture to this design. I would love to see what y'all come up with!
I can teach you everything you need to learn some new skills like the magic ring, these fun embellishments and more in my Crochet (and Knit) Essential Skills course full of 72 must see video classes to perfect your crochet techniques and ability to tackle and pattern out there. It would be fun to make these hats in larger sizes, so that older sisters, mamas and grandmas can have the same hat.
Thank you for providing this to us. I am a volunteer for a hospital, making preemie hats and these help so much. Between yarn and instructions, it does get expensive. We get so many compliments on the hats! Again, thank you!
Thank you, Linda!
Very easy and simple cap. Made 2 in less than one hour.
