This Preemie/Newborn Cow Hat crochet pattern is great to add to your farm animal hat collection!

The pattern is sized from a 1-3 preemie to a 9-11 newborn and uses worsted weight yarn. You’re definitely going to want to make more than one once you try this super cute crochet pattern.

ASSEMBLY:
Using long tails for sewing where possible: Sew one ear to each side of hat.
Sew snout to center front of hat, just above the ribbing, and centered between ears.

Optional: Add a small amount of stuffing inside snout before you finish sewing it on.
Identify eye placements at center front of hat, above snout.
Sew one spot where you would like the color A eye to be.
Using the same tail, sew color A button on top of this spot.
Sew color C button in place with color A yarn.
Sew remaining spots to hat as desired.
