This Newborn Chick Knot Crochet Hat is one I have been storing up and is one of my favorite newborn hats. I just love how fun the knot in the top of the hat looks, and adds a little extra to it.
This is one of those crochet techniques that makes a hat instantly look cuter – and maybe just a little more complicated – but it doesn’t take a lot of time, effort, skill, or yarn to do it.
And of course, you can make any kind of face that you like with a little embellishment. Use whatever color yarn you have on hand and see what kind of animal it wants to be.
The hat is sized for a newborn and uses worsted weight yarn.
