Kennedy Hat Crochet Pattern

Some of you may be a little let down since I made a huge deal out of a basic beanie, but it's so much more than that. Let's think. Your wild imagination can be left free to make this basic beanie into something so much more! Oh, and did I mention it's just the start to something even bigger here at Cream Of The Crop Crochet? Yarn: Worsted weight yarn 
50 (65, 70, 90, 100) yds

US size J/10 (6mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Rnd 1: Ch 3, 9 dc in 3rd ch from hook (skipped chs do not count as a st), join with sl st in top of first st. (9 dc) 

Rnd 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a st), 2 dc in each st around, join with sl st in top of first st. (18 dc)

Rnd 3: Ch 2, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st, repeat from * around, join with sl st in top of first st. (27 dc)

Rnd 4: Ch 2, *2 dc in next st, dc in next 2 sts, repeat from * around, join with sl st in top of first st. (36 dc) 

Rnds 5-9: Ch 2, dc in each st around, join with sl st in top of first st. 

Rnd 10: Ch 2, fpdc around first st, bpdc around the next st, *fpdc around next st, bpdc around next st, repeat from * around, join with sl st in top of first st. Fasten off; weave ends.

3-6 Month Hat
