Sometimes it can be hard to find baby patterns that are made for boys. Of course, all crochet patterns are for everyone, but if you want a classic look that will be perfect for a little boy’s room, this baby blanket crochet pattern is a great choice.
It mostly uses front loop double crochet for a look that’s a little different from regular double crochet but that’s still pretty easy to accomplish. The picot edging is worked in a contrasting color for added interest.

Row 1 (RS): Dc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (152 sts)
Row 2 – 60: Ch 2, dc in front loop only of each st across, turn.
Change to B, fasten off A.
