Worsted weight yarn (4-medium)
I-9 (5.500mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle, to weave ends
13 dc stitches x 6 rows is 4″
*Change your hook size to obtain the gauge.
- ALWAYS start in the same stitch as chain.
- ALWAYS join in first stitch of the row.
- In the amount of stitches you should have at the end of the row, (ex. 11 sts). That count does include the chain.

Row 2: ch 3, dc in each st around, join (119 sts)
Rows 3-6: ch 3, fldc in each st around, join (119 sts)
Row 7: ch 3, fldc in each st around, join (119 sts)
Cut yarn and change to white yarn.
Row 8: (edging) ch 1, sc in each st around, join, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends (119 sts)
Bottom edging: with white yarn, ch 1, sc in each st around, join, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends (119 sts)
