This pattern is one of the most thoughtful gifts for a newborn! It's soft, warm, and customizable. Your baby will surely grow loving this blanket. Check out the free pattern below or get the ad-free printable PDF pattern here.
I love making the ripple stitch, so of course, I had to make a Ripple Preemie Blanket. If you know a new little newborn, it’s nice to make them a tiny crochet blanket they can use as a doll blanket later in life.
Of course, you can always make a larger blanket if you like for a full-term baby or toddler.
This crochet pattern includes simple stripes that emphasize the ripple stitch. Use two colors as shown or make a scrappy blanket if you’d rather. These are also great projects to donate to hospitals, just make sure you use yarn that’s soft and machine washable.
Before I get into this pattern I want to tell you about my crochet stitch library where I teach you 45 crochet stitches that you can use in all your blanket patterns (or whatever pattern you choose). I am sharing all my videos classes with my readers free for 2 days. Check them out here!
I also have a blanket bundle with 23 Video Classes & Patterns. You get all these in one collection! Come and crochet along with me and my instructors!
