Materials
worsted weight (4-medium)
- less than quarter of Caron, One Pound, Scarlet yarn
- a small amount of Caron, One Pound, White yarn
I-9 (5.500mm) crochet hook
Fabric scissors
Yarn needle, to weave ends
Gauge
3 dc stitches x 2 rows is 1″

Ear Warmers
with red yarn.
ch 12
Row 1: dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in each st, turn (11 sts)
Row 2: ch 2, dc in each st, turn (11 sts)
Repeat row 2 as many times as needed. We repeated 32 times.
Last row: ch 2, dc in each st, slst last row and beginning chain together, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
Heart
with white yarn.
ch 4, all worked in the 4th ch from hook, 3 trc, 4 dc, trc, 4 dc, 3 trc, ch 3, join in the circle as before, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
- with red yarn and a yarn needle
- attach the white heart to the ear warmers
