Get your cup of coffee, and sit in a comfy spot, Crafter. It's time to meet another one of my designer friends, Candy from Meladora's Creations!

We are going to sit here, and chat all about crochet. I will ask the questions we're all dying to know the answers to, and Candy will tell us all about things crochet. I can't think of a better way to spend my morning!

What is the first project you ever made? The 1st project I ever designed and shared online is the Granny Tote bag

What is your favorite crochet hook? 5 mm \ H

What is your favorite yarn? acrylic

Why did you start crocheting? My mom use to sit and crochet afghans and knit booties and sweaters and I wanted to learn so she taught me how to do both.

Where is your favorite place to crochet and why? In my computer chair as I watch a show or movie

What is your most favorite project you ever made and why? My favorite thing to crochet used to be the Crochet Flower purse. I made a lot of them.

What is your favorite crochet stitch? cluster

What would be your crochet, dream come true? A huge stash of yarn, going to a crochet conference, meeting a crochet designer, having your own store, going on a crochet retreat, etc. To have the biggest crochet YouTube channel.

When did you know crochet was a passion of yours? Since I was 12 (started crocheting when I was 5) I used to enter projects to be judged at the country fair. My mom did this every year and I was glad to be able to join her.

What crochet designer do you admire most? Moogly \ Tamara Kelly

Do you have any advice for crocheters? Never be afraid to try new things. It may look difficult on the picture, but once you start trying, you may realize it's not as bad as you thought. Always be pushing yourself to learn new things.
