Try this on for size. Your little kiddo’s growing fast and needs a new hat to wear on those chilly days. This star stitch hat’s the answer. You’ll probably even want to make one for yourself (which can be done! Just add a few more stitches.)
To make this hat, we grabbed a heather color wool yarn and got to work. Go for whatever color you can dream up – we think it would also be cute in ombre. To be fair, we think it’s cute no matter what, but maybe we’re a little biased.
If you’ve got a snow trip coming up soon, start making this hat as soon as you can. You’re going to want it so it can be in all the pictures you take with your family. And if you live somewhere snowy, all the more reason to bust out that crochet needle.
People will literally think you bought this hat from a store. But when they ask where it’s from, you can say, “Nowhere! I made it,” which, we promise you, feels really good.
