It's that time of month again! Come meet my friend SheriAnn from The Country Willow, as we sit here drinking our coffee, and playing with our hooks and yarn!
I will ask the questions, and SheriAnn will tell us all about things crochet. I can't think of a better way to spend my morning!
SheriAnn: Good Morning everyone. I am so happy to be here with Ashley to talk Crochet!! This is going to be an amazing conversation, so get that coffee or beverage of choice and let's get started!
What is the first project you ever made? Scarf
What is your favorite crochet hook? I love my I Tulip Soft Handle Hook because it is easier on the hands. I have RA and Fibromyalgia some days I need something easier on the hands.
What is your favorite yarn? Lion Brand Vannas Choice. It is nice and heavy, soft, and great to work with.
When did you start crocheting? 5 years ago started my obsession but I was taught to crochet when I was 12. Back then it didn't really excite me like it does now.
Where is your favorite place to crochet and why? I like to crochet in my craft room. It's quiet, bright and sunny.
What is your most favorite project you ever made and why? I would say my Rouge Scarf. I love the color and the thickness of it.
What is your favorite crochet stitch? I love the cluster stitches in the Winter because they are nice and thick.
What would be your crochet, dream come true? I would love either to go on a crochet conference or a retreat. It would be amazing to meet many of the designers that I now call friends.
When did you know crochet was a passion of yours? About 5 years ago. I picked up the hook and never set it down
What crochet designer do you admire most? I would have to say Kate Wagstaff. The girl has talent in taking any stitch and making it into something you would never expect the stitch to make.
Do you have any advice for crocheters? Start slow. Learn to read patterns and not to focus of videos. If you can read a pattern fully and understand it, you can design.
Where can fans find more information about your blog and on social networks?
