Preemie Newborn Bow Hat Crochet Pattern

Because all great things come wrapped in bows and yarns, prepare for the arrival of your precious bundle of joy with this hat. You can style it in a lot of ways, and have one ready while waiting on your next doctor's appointment. Stitch it up with the free pattern below or get the ad-free printable PDF pattern here.

Doesn't this cute preemie/newborn bow hat look like a present? It has a cute bow that wraps around like on a present with lacy ribbing! #crochethat Preemie Newborn Bow Hat Crochet Pattern

When designing this crochet hat pattern I was thinking about how to show how precious a little newborn life is. What is a better way than wrapping them with a bow to what a precious gift they are? So that's exactly what I did! Let your new little one shine in this Preemie Newborn Bow Crochet Hat!

I whipped this hat up in less than a half-hour with worsted weight yarn and a size G-6 (4.00 mm) crochet hook. The post ribbing helps it have a bit of a lacy look, or you can keep it simple and just make the last round double crochet instead.

One thing I love about crocheting hats is that they are easy to make and perfect for people who are just learning foundational crochet skills.

I loved the pattern for the baby hat but could not find pattern for the bow and that adds so much. I have 2 baby girl grand babies due this holiday season and would like to make hats for them. It is so much fun.

Please help. I have enjoyed making your preemie collection. I have been making a series for one of my very good friends who had her first baby and he is a preemie. I have decided to make a shadow box full of your hats in various sizes because he tried to come out when he was 13 weeks and we got him to 21 weeks before he was born at 2 lb. But in order to complete the collection I need to complete the moose all of which I have all the material needed but I cannot proceed because the pattern does not load on your page or Ravelry or Pinterest please explain or teach me how to proceed. I look forward from hearing from you thank you in advance.

Thank you for the pattern. Such a beautiful feminine finished hat. I see many styles of chemo hats that have been donated for the ladies that come through the oncology center. I think this design is my favorite chemo hat I’ve seen to date. And they work up quickly. I have made two so far for the radiation oncology center where my husband is currently undergoing treatment.

I tried to attach pictures of the completed hat but wasn’t able to figure out how to get this comment section to accept a photo here. Any suggestions on how to post the picture?

Thank you for the pattern! If you were going to make these for boy babies would you still put the bow on the hat or just the stripe??
